We haven’t Had Rain in Almost 2 Months!

What is your homestead’s primary source of water? Do you have a secondary source? What if two sources of water go down? Do you have a third?

Water is the most important element an off-grid homestead can have and it’s our biggest concern when the rains don’t come for any length of time.

  1. Yep ! Water is a more precious.

    • We live in the Phoenix area and we have something in the summer called The Century Mark which translates into 100 days without rain… we experience this quite often.

      As a result of such an arid climate, my wife and I have purchased a 16 acre homestead in the mountains where rain is not a rarity!!
