Should I Homestead OFF or ON GRID?

  2. This is a very thoughtful presentation. We’ve been off-grid for 20 years. We have a decent solar setup. Still, there are times when I miss the grid. We have a nice gas-powered generator to use as needed, as when it’s been grey and cloudy for several days. All in all, I never want to be dependent on the grid again.
