I was in deck division on two cruisers. I took pride in my work, and I was involved in a lot of evolutions throughout the 23 cumulative months I was at sea on these ships. 35 months altogether.
The standards and integrity had already been low. Seamen would paint over salt and rust. No needle-gunning. No priming. Just slapping paint over it. The super structures that were maintained by other departments were decently cared for, but that was really only on th Vicksburg, which was an all-male ship. The integrated ships I was attached to had similar standards, but only a select few upheld them.
Non-Whites are given everything, every division over a certian number of sailers is required to give one to four females the higest evaluation to keep it “fair.” Sodomizers are protected. Sex everywhere. Fraternization between differing ranks and even between officer/enlisted is at all time highs. It’s terrible.
I will never go back, and I can not advise any decent American to do so, especially Christians.
Discipline is what’s lacking the young people today don’t have any and a lot of them can’t read can’t follow orders and for some bizarre reason don’t even see that as a problem
A guy a few months ago approached me and said thank you for your service. I said say again, and looked at him funny. He said you were in the military, thank you for your service. I said how did you know (I usually look like a wooly booger), he said I can always tell by how vets carry themselves.
The standards of this country are practically diminished like you said if you go into a grocery store with cash and give them the bills and some change, watch them go into panic mode. They have no clue what to do. They throw the money back at you and say you can’t do this to me I don’t know what to do with it . Really really did you graduate high school yes I did and you can’t do math think about it. IT’S SAD.

Look up what a 1015 is in their state codes. Everyone should be angry as f about it. As one you have no rights.

Nah you can work on the ship at sea, I’m a sailor and can’t believe that. Is it the USS State of California? Maybe it’s their state’s militia.
