I’ve been bringing my kids here ever since they were big enough to hold a fishing pole. It’s my favorite place apart from the homestead. It’s worth budgeting in a trip at least once.

One of my favorite things to do with my boys. They’re getting pretty good at landing trout. We love to smoke them and form them in to “crab cakes” and freeze them for deer camp. Always a hit

We called Wood Sorrel the ‘pickle plant’ as a child and would graze on it in my grandparents back yard
