Skoolie reminded me of a former neighbor who grew up on a farm where the nearest neighbor was a mile or more away. She said they grew a corn called Skoolie corn. She did not know if that was its actual name, or whether her father got it from someone named Skoolie. Nothing to do with a bus, but I wondered if anyone else had ever heard of it.
Those folks sure have a nice bus. I had a friend who had an older bus that ha been converted, but nowhere even close like this one. He did have a wood stove in it for heat. He parked it on some land to use as a cabin after brake parts became unobtainable. Sadly he passed away more than a decade ago.
Beautiful work! We added a compost toilet from Separett to our bunkhouse. Works great! Unfortunately, the company changed and quit manufacturing… any recommendations in best brand of these?
