I haven’t been there in over 20 years, it was a crap hole then! Especially Indian springs, 40+ years ago it was horrible in daylight and I can’t imagine after dark. I see absolutely no reason to return.
I will tell you, in 2020 or 2021, Kansas City defunded their police department. My husband and I were told this by police officers while waiting for other police to come take a report after we were involved in a hit and run incident. We happened to stop at one of the locations police fueled their vehicles.
The Chaos is led by the mayor the his regional appointees. Unelected, yet dictating his will across the state line. Lucas has zero answers and claims nothing can be done. I think they want it this way.
I keep moving out of the city, but the city keeps growing back around me. I figure I have about 10 years here and I will have to move again. Getting too old for this.
Well, I pretty much agree with every single thing you said. The world is going to hell in a handbasket. We’ve lost our moral compass 100%. Everybody wants to not offend somebody else so they just don’t stand up for what’s right anymore. Glad to see that you’re sharing the ultimateprep of homesteading. We left the city just over a year ago and while it sometimes uncomfortable, we are much happier not being in the middle of the chaos. Will definitely share your website too! Be blessed.
