My daughter was born in 1987 and in the early 90s we moved to a mini Homestead and she learned to take care of all the animals and because we were in the middle of nowhere she learned to cook with me as my mother taught me and now she’s doing all that with the boys limited screen time playing outside doing archery learning to hunt and fish all by herself with the help of her father at times who lives nearby.
Living in the city, trust me you would not want your kids playing outside. The nwo has taken over the parks that’s where the planning meetings are daily. They even do training like running with no shirts etc…
You can never recreate a gen xer… We are a different breed. I think we were an experiment and they got scared we would take over so they reversed course and started making millenials then slid all the way back to the completely useless gen z’s..

So I kept my mouth shut on how much crap
I witnessed watching friends raise theirs and now wish I hadn’t on certain things.
Participation trophies being on the top of the list.
