They pushed this chicken nonsense on us back in 2005-2006 in Abbotsford Canada. They would spray my car tires with something when I left from home and went back. They killed 19 000 000 chickens in one summer. After that, they suddenly decided that it was a good idea to allow everyone to have backyard chickens.Then came swine flu, Saars and other lies.
Sometimes, you can put fake eggs with the real eggs to help defer chickens from eating eggs. With the fake eggs, they peck them, and they don’t break. After a while, they give up that habit. No reward, no payoff. Habit abandoned.

I had that problem but then I started using roll away egg boxes. I made mine from metal paint trays and indoor outdoor carpet there are plenty of video describing what to do to make them. Mine were all hens that did that. I just didn’t want babies lol
Also one of the problems ate that they aren’t getting enough protein especially if they aren’t free ranged and even then it could happen.
What’s interesting about what you said about people pulling out the $5k in cash is that I was reading an article and it says that people who do not make over $40k a year will NOT get $5k because under that amount they don’t really pay anything in taxes AND BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE LIKEY TO SAVE AND INVEST THAT MONEY AND NOT SPEND IT. Makes me think that’s what they are banking on!
I’ll be building roll away nest boxes for mine. I have a very rare breed of chickens on the critical list and I will not cull them. They’re Malay. Some of those roosters cost as much as $250 each. I can’t see eating any of them. So my solution is the roll away nest boxes.
I used to live in an apartment didnt even have a padio or veranda.. I kept a few quail in a rabbit cage by the window. We got 6 eggs a day. And that was with just one cage.
I lived in St Louis county. I was an Urban gardener. My 4×8 foot balcony was full of fruit trees, tomato plants, a trash bucket filled with purple potatoes. I had pepper plants, and other vegetables and herbs.
*I’m favoured only God knows how much I praise Him,* $230k every 4weeks! | now have a big mansion and can now afford anything and also support God’s work and the church.
Chickens will EAT EACH OTHER TOO!!!!!

Most people will take it anyway , they know that soo what to do ? , I believe that it’s going to happen anyway .
