In my city in Wisconsin I can’t find organic antibiotic free eggs at woodman’s. There’s only organic eggs at trader Joe’s no were else. And you can only get 1 dozen. And their almost $7=1 dozen. Woodman’s actually is filling empty organic eggs cartons with non-organic eggs. I know this because regular eggs cause me extreme digestive problems.. and I learned it the hard way!
As counter intuitive as it may sound, people with college degrees do not have the natural inclination to follow the will of their constituents, especially if their constituents only have a high school degree or less.
Bureaucrats “letting” or “allowing” is an abomination. That’s not what elected people are there for , but they can’t help themselves- always wanting more of themselves in charge and ruling over others .
Whatever laws they pass, people should quietly rebel and raise their own food. Overload the bureacracy, there are never enough staff in govt organizations. Most of their power is fluff, we just choose to agree. If people collectively tell the govt to fuck off about having chickens then they wil have no choice but get over it. We might need a few more Luigi heroes to move things along. I am not interested in doing that, but I will cheer them on. Central planners have taken over the planet and driven it over the bridge in their quest for infinite profit. Society emerges naturally from what the people do, not liie some machine waiting for the most perfect manager. No person or group of people can manage those levels of complexity. We are a tribal species, nation states are inherently unnatural. We need to return to local identity. A connected web of local places, local people. I am a Vermonter, I know nothing of life in the South Dakota plains, silly for us to identify as the same.
Tell me we’re not slaves. Can’t grow or raise our own food. Can’t own land by that I mean even once you “own” it you still have to pay taxes on it until you die so even if you had enough land to grow all your own food and had no need for government anything you still have to pay them yearly. Far from free just modern slaves with tons of junk to distract us from the reality of it all
A friend and myself found 2 house reps in Idaho and we’ve got a homestead for HOA’s on the calender for this session. I’m so excited!! We all have between 1-5 acres and a neighbor who tries to shut down or make impossible. We are protecting ourselves and others…or at least trying!!
