It takes only one bad apple to ruin the whole barrel!!! All too true!! I go to farmers market and anywhere else early specially to avoid the crowd/mob mentality. The snatch and grab crowd!!!!
You are correct. It is not enjoyable to eat out anymore. Glad the internet is full of restaurant copy cat recipes….who needs to eat out?
I watched your mullein video on Patreon but I’m unable to comment there so I’ll comment here.
Putting any kind of oil in your ear canal is not a good idea. Just saying
I’m old! When I started driving there was no such thing as self-service gas. The station had a guy who pumped the gas and he even cleaned the windshield.
Someone said the new word for black is teen. Is this true?
The 13 percent are responsible for about 70% of all the Dine and Dash.
Last time we flew was a couple years ago for my brother’s wedding and let me tell you, we couldn’t wait to be out of the airports. We would rather drive than fly, especially these days. Oh and just a few weeks ago when my mom had to walk her grandkids to the gate at the airport, she didn’t have her passport with her and no “Real” CA ID, just a regular driver’s license, so she was charged $45, just to be an escort because she had to go through TSA.
And we don’t eat out often but months back we witnessed dine and dash, sadly. They left a lot of food too, lack of morals and wasteful. It was a shame.
I used to gas and go and dine and dash a lot i lived a wild life when I was a young man
We don’t eat out. Ever. First, we are way far away from anything. Second, the prices are ridiculous ever since Convid. Third, the food doesn’t taste the same as it used to. Grow/raise your own food at home.
Rudyard Kipling wrote:
The Stranger within my gate,
He may be true or kind,
But he does not talk my talk—
I cannot feel his mind.
I see the face and the eyes and the mouth,
But not the soul behind.
The men of my own stock
They may do ill or well,
But they tell the lies I am wonted to,
They are used to the lies I tell.
And we do not need interpreters
When we go to buy and sell.
The Stranger within my gates,
He may be evil or good,
But I cannot tell what powers control—
What reasons sway his mood;
Nor when the Gods of his far-off land
Shall repossess his blood.
The men of my own stock,
Bitter bad they may be,
But, at least, they hear the things I hear,
And see the things I see;
And whatever I think of them and their likes
They think of the likes of me.
This was my father’s belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf—
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children’s teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.
