Is there a danger in keeping farm animals as pets just because they are cute? What about the rising rates of animal thefts being reported across the country?

I wish people would learn how the US system of law really works. Due process and jurusdiction. There are many types of jurisdiction. If any government, local or federal, doesnt have all forms of jurisdiction, then they have none. Ordinances do not apply to private property unless there is a nexus. That basically means a license to conduct business on said property. You, can do whatever the hell you want on your land!
I have sheep they are eating machines we have to rotate the pasture to keep fresh grasses available to them all the time. I feel sorry for these sheep but maybe they do have acres of yard in their suburb. I don’t know

it is time for the city council and mayor to go. this its already been stupid but its getting worse. zoning needs gone too, planning commission any and all of them. this is sarah moores doing. its going to turn into a cluster just like all the traffic crap theyve done. S curves messed up, road by wilson park that was two lanes turned into one because they wanted to widen the sidewalk. imagine a neighbor complaining when the animals make sounds. or imagine if they get loose and get out of their pin. poor things could get ran over. poor deer already dont have anywhere to go because they keep tearing down woods to build these ugly duplexes and ugly stacked up houses that are cramped that people pay stupid money for because they believed the lie.
My question is, why should we ask the government’s permission to keep lightstock?Guess i’m lucky I live in pope county currently and yell county where I grew up if you messed with somebody’s livestock , you might as well go by yourself a buy a coffin and make funeral arrangements for yourself
Food. We live in the burbs on half an acre. We grow almost all of our produce and herbs. We are planning chicken next year. We hunt and fish so that rounds out the meat. Only thing we really buy is coffee, sugar, real salt, wheat berries and the few things can’t grow in the south like apples.
People who “homestead” for a vibe will quit once it is gone.
There has to be a deeper purpose and commitment to the lifestyle.
