We just had a raccoon family break into our quail coop and ravage 27 quail. Luckily a week before we had filled the incubator with quail eggs.

Well, there is a neighbor concern for beekeeping. I have been a beekeeper, in my 10 acres. My spouse, as it turns out, is allergic to bee stings. And pretty much all stings, it seems.
I no longer keep bees, though I still have “escapees” who made their own way. This is good.
But what if you wanted to keep bees on a standard lot? A quarter acre? And what if a neighbor is allergic to stings?
New Queen? That’s weird. Sure, I’ve had three year old queens. I think one was four years old. Usually it’s off with her head when she is no longer laying enough eggs. The BEES will replace her if I don’t!
So if you have 3 chickens and a coyote eats one are you gonna be fined? lmfao People that don’t know anything about the things they are making laws about should render the law unenforceable.
These are you’re employees. FIRE THEM they are supposed to work for you not themselves. This is only going to get worse unless the people STAND UP to these TYRANTS.
Had a neighbor with a few chickens, ducks, quails, and goats in the back yard.. been there for 15+years.. didn’t bother us or the other neighbors.. even had trips from the local headstart frequently.. took one brand new neighbor to complain once and they had to get rid of all of it.. heartbreaking

They won’t have the man power to inspect everyone. They’ll probably be more reactive than proactive and respond to neighbor complaints.
