I think people get annoyed by me saying the new year begins in spring at work lol. Personally i don’t see a reason for getting gold due to me being 23, but natural medicine is very interesting.

Left teaching at age 54, took on a job as a steam plant operator at a state university. Never regret it taking a 40% cut and pay. That’s how bad teaching was.
Had to stop UNCG as soon as I could retire. Yes, it’s that bad, and I imagine it’s gotten worse since 2014.
Additionally, having come into education through lateral entry, having taught “shop” versus a “core” class, being surrounded by all of those classically trained lemmings, it was like being a fly on the wall at a barnyard stable.
I have been licensed Ham since 1989 and I like 220mhz band. I also have two Kenwood commercial mobiles 900mhz programmed on the Amateur portion of 900mhz. There are no 900mhz radios you can buy for Amateur radio. Commercial radios can be modified for these frequencies. Since 900mhz ham band is uncommon for use it affords more privacy which is a beautiful kicker.
